Although many people were tricked by Zach Galifianakis' comedy prank, he doesn't have a twin brother named Seth, it was him pretending to be his own brother.
He does, however have two siblings, an older brother named Greg, and a younger sister named Merritt. Zach was born Zacharius Knight Galifianakis on October 1, 1969 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Galifianakis got his first professional acting role in the TV series Boston Common in 1996.
Galifianakis currently hosts a comedy series called Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis on the http://www.funnyordie.com/website. In it he conducts celebrity interviews between two potted ferns.
Of interest, the funny man is starring The Hangover Part III, which is in theaters now. His films You Are Here and Birdman are in post-production, but there are no release dates at this time.
