Melissa was born on May 23, 1965 in Lexington, Kentucky and made her television debut in 1993 on an episode of Matlock. She also guest starred in several television series, including American Gothic, Profiler, and Dawson's Creek. She worked full time as a casting director in Atlanta, Georgia from 2000-2010.
