No. Bill Nye probably just happens to be an expert on the subject of talking about the effects of smoking weed.
In relation to weed, Bill Nye's ex-wife Blair Tindall, back in 2007, admitted that she poisoned Bill's rose garden by emptying two bottles of weed killer into the flowers. USA Today reported that when the two found out their marriage license was "invalid," Nye "ordered Tindall not to move into the house" and the relationship ended. See more here.
Of interest, an actor portrayed him in a CollegeHumor.com trailer parody of AMC’s hit show "Breaking Bad". Nye assumed the role of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) who when diagnosed with advanced lung cancer decided to team up with one of his science students to make and sell crystal methamphetamine as a way to secure his family’s future before he dies.
Bill Nye, the Science Guy, traveled to Petersburg, Ky.'s Creation Museum to face a sold-out audience and debate the Museum's founder, Ken Ham, on whether or not Earth is 6,000 or so years old. Check out more at Mother Nature Network.
