Lana Parrilla (born Lana Maria Parrilla on July 15, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York City) didn't go into much detail, but explained that her lip injury occurred when she was 10 and was attacked by a dog while sitting with her cat in the front yard; this left a noticeable scar on the right side of her upper lip. She is engaged to Fred Di Blasio.
Parrilla got her first professional acting role in 1999 when she played a waitress in the TV series Grown Ups. She later appeared in Spin City (2000-2001), The Shield (2002), Boomtown (2002-2003), NYPD Blue (2004), Six Feet Under (2004), 24 (2005), Lost (2007), and Chase (2011), to name a few of the more than 20 titles she has credits for.
Currently, she stars in the ABC TV series Once Upon a Time, in which she plays the roles of both Regina Mills, mayor of Storybrooke, and the Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest.
Once Upon a Time has been given the green light to begin filming a third season. ABC also gave the go ahead for the spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Both shows will air in Fall of 2013, with Once Upon a Time remaining on Sundays and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland on Thursdays.
