The Jacuzzi related death (Bad Max) in 1000 Ways to Die's season 3 episode The End is Weird is said to have been based on real injuries experienced by Abigail Taylor when she was 6-years-old. To date no actor has been killed by sitting on a Jacuzzi valve. The actor for the show’s dramatization purposes was described by the narrator to have “Mel Gibson-nesque” behaviors.
This particular death is the 873rd one on the list of 1000 ways to die.
1000 Ways to Die aired its series finale on July 15, 2012 leaving us to wonder how the other 502 deaths occurred. In early 2012 production was halted because of a labor dispute with crew members. Original Productions attempted to hire replacement workers, but they were unsuccessful in resuming production.
Just in- A recent announcement on 1000 Ways to Dies's official Facebook page claims that new episodes are coming soon. Sadly, no exact premiere date of the new season is available at this time.
