Morley Safer (born November 8, 1931 in Toronto, Ontario) from 60 Minutes is currently 79, soon to be 80 years old. He began his run on 60 Minutes in 1970, and has 11 Emmys for his role on that show. Before working for CBS in the U.S. he was a correspondent for the Canadian Broadcasting Company. After joining CBS he became a London Bureau correspondent, and in 1967 became the London Bureau Chief, a position in which he remained for 3 years.
